On November 1st, the zoo announced they were gifted $250,000 from PA state representative Bob Merski which will be used to enhance the African-painted dog exhibit, as well as create a gender-neutral bathroom in the Kiboka Outpost area.

On October 4th, it was reported that the zoo has acquired/will be acquiring (1.1) Allen's swamp monkeys and (1.1) lesser spot-nosed guenons which will be added to the new colobus monkey exhibit, a (0.0.1) Père David's deer which will be added into the Safari Land area, and (1.1) red pandas.

On November 9th, the zoo announced they acquired a (0.1) Pere David's deer named Lisa who will be a companion animal for the facility's male, Tai Long.
