Only the Ostrich is actually using it during the winter. She is pretty hardy and does not mind the snow. When the temperatures are mild the hornbills share that enclosure with the Ostrich.

A baby Ring-tailed Lemur was born on 4/9. His name is Chewie since his birth announcement is on Star Wars day.
The Klipspringer has moved into one of the Sahara yards. So it looks like they just moved him behind the scenes temporarily.
He was behind the scenes on my visit and is one of the oldest Klipspringers in captivity at 22 years old, so I have to get there again soon if I want to see him, though I’m not sure if I’ll be able to.

All visitors 12+ to the zoo must now be vaccinated against covid, per an e-mail sent out by the zoo. All guests 18+ must also have a valid form of ID with name and DOB or photo. Masks must still be worn indoors.

While I appreciate your thoroughness and enthusiasm for keeping the US threads fresh with updates @Smaggledagle, I'd suggest maybe having a time limit for small updates like this? Ring-tailed lemur transfers happen all the time, and while reporting it might be relevant news if it had happened in the last month or two I struggle to see how helpful it is 7 months later.
Ok, tbf, I'm surprised you didn't get mad at me when I posted kinda the same thing on the Fort Wayne's thread which is dated from April of last year, but I just want to do my diligence for people to know about recent acquirements/deaths and such.
That's why I've kinda been doing little edits to my style, for example, I stopped covering COVID-19 vaccine updates because it's just becoming another vaccine and not really news. If you think I should stop with the news that is too late for the thread, then I can understand why.

I just don't think 7 months or a year ago counts as a "recent" acquisition or death. If a new exhibit opening or a species being phased in/out is missed then it could be good to know even a while later, but a single transfer of a very common animal is going to be a news item that is of little relevance after a month or two. Personally I think even that's generous, but I understand some of our local members like smaller updates on their home zoos.
On July 10th, the zoo announced they have installed new skylights in the indoor wing areas, which temporarily caused some species to be moved off exhibit.
