The Zoo was opened in Greifswald/Germany but then moved to Salzburg/Austria. You can look it up in the Austria section (or just on the internet: Home - Welt der Gifte).

Dose your website translate into English? Austria seems quiet a destination for venomous snakes, with several collections, compared to the UK, that has nothing.
Interestingly I noticed that at no stage, you have kept any mambas, is there a reason for this?

Mind you, if one is reliant on public transport there's pretty much only the one feasible specialist collection - this being Welt Der Gifte itself
places like Nockalm are all-but-impossible to reach if one cannot drive sadly!

Most of our animals originate from confiscations and donations. So far, no mamba has been among them - yet. We'll get one from Eimsheim soon - and on temporary loan, another (in)famous venomous critter.
