And this is why I normally don't try to respond to posts using my phone...White naked crane? Should someone get them towels? Sorry I couldn't resist. Too bad your ideas weren't accepted.

Don't forget Armenian viper!I feel like Middle Eastern habitats are underrepresented in both European and American zoos. If the zoos in question do have an area themed to the Middle East, it may be a small area for camel rides or maybe fennec foxes. Honestly, I think an exhibit themed to the Caucasus Mountains would be interesting
An idea for a Caucasusian area would be:
Leopards
Demoiselle Crane
Tigers (would have to be a Siberian-stand in)
Ring-necked Pheasants
Striped Hyena
Red Deer
Greater Flamingo
Preszwalski’s Horse
Eurasian Collared Dove
That's a great idea! Brown bears would also be a good addition, and even Asiatic lions in representation of the extinct middle-eastern ones that roamed there. Mountain caprines, like the West Caucasian tur are also worth considering.I feel like Middle Eastern habitats are underrepresented in both European and American zoos. Many of those animals are common in captivity, but oddly they're almost never in an appropriately themed area...I don't know if this is more common than I think, but Gran Chaco or Patagonian themed areas for South America, with guanacos, culpeo, maned wolf, maras, rheas, etc
The black and caspian sea.Does anyone know of any gret exhibits of these relatively unknown habitats?
Okay so maybe some more appropriately themed exhibts, and group them all together and boom! Patagonia or Andean themed area! Many of those animals are common in captivity, but oddly they're almost never in an appropriately themed area...
Przewalski's horses aren't found in the Caucasus though. The kulan would be a better bet, but still not accurate geographically. An idea for a Caucasusian area would be:

I don't believe greater flamingos are found in the region either.
I think so, the last bastion of the tarpan was the southern Russian steppe, which naturally includes the Caucasus.I was going to say, Przewalski's horses did seem out of place. Did Tarpan live in the Caucasus historically?

Greater Flamingos breed along the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria and also in Turkey, so I would imagine they are at least visitors to any suitable habitat along the coasts of the CaucasusPrzewalski's horses aren't found in the Caucasus though. For the lions current taxonomy places the Asiatic lions of India in the same subspecies formerly found throughout the midle east and into SE Europe. That's a great idea! I created an Okavango exhibit in the Fantasy Zoos forum several years ago.I have never seen any river delta exhibit except for the everglades.Deltas have an incredible array of biodiversity, something that many people are unaware off..An exhibit on the Volga,Danube,Nile,Okavango etc etc would be awsome.
A Ganges delta section would be a great way for any zoo to incorporate tigers, elephants, deer, Indian rhinos, monkeys, aquatic birds, hornbills, rock pythons, crocodilians and many fish. These are typical zoo animals, and this theme would give it a fresh twist.I have never seen any river delta exhibit except for the everglades.Deltas have an incredible array of biodiversity, something that many people are unaware off..An exhibit on the Volga,Danube,Nile,Okavango etc etc would be awsome.
Greater Flamingos aren’t usually found in the area, but there are isolated flocks that winter on the Caspian coast of Iran.Przewalski's horses aren't found in the Caucasus though. The kulan would be a better bet, but still not accurate geographically.

Coastal habitats like tidal flats, mudflats, saline lagoons (habitat of flamingos!) or mangroves (habitat of e.g. manatees, diverse crocodilians, sea fish and the largest remaining tiger population).
