Fort Worth Zoo and Dallas Zoo no longer house Nubian Ibex

Frank Buck Zoo now holds Nubian Ibex

Except for the fact this thread is redundant now that we have a thread dedicated to all ungulates in North America. But for most other threads like this, that is perfectly fine .

Akron Zoo no longer has Himalayan tahr (their last tahr died).

I believe Lagoon Deer Park still has aoudad.

NO!! I was hoping I could make it to Toronto in time, but haven't had the chance to head up that way yet. Depending on a number of factors, that's one of the new-to-me big zoos I'm most likely to visit over the next few years, and while this doesn't come as a surprise, it does come as a disappointment as it's now a species I'll likely never see. At least they should still have turs for a while, so I get one new and exciting caprid to see.

Lazy 5 Ranch (Mooresvile, NC; this is just outside of Charlotte) has both Auodad and Himalayan Tahr listed on their website. I actually saw the Auodads on my May 2022 visit, but did not see any Tahr.

Rosamond Gifford Zoo now has Argali (Ovis ammon polii).

Hard to say if they are still there as they do not list all their species, but from visiting in the past, Hollywild in South Carolina has barbary sheep and ibex (could not find out which species).
