You can take your own food but have to picnic in the car parkNot sure about bumping very old topics...
As they are from 2012 and older.
But as anyone been recently?
We thought of going, and boyfriend (for once) is going through their terms and conditions, saying you can't bring your own food? (he's diabetic, so can't rely on food you can only buy there).
Thanks![]()
You can't take your own food in to the zoo, and there are no bins inside the zoo.
There is a picnic area in the car park where the toilets are if you want to eat your own food.
I think they've had incidents in the past of people trying to give food to animals or rubbish ending up in enclosures, so they are very protective and I understand why. It's a nice zoo with a couple of nice rarities as well. A few exhibits are a little outdated but it's a nice collection.
It's a nice picnic area in the car park, and that's where the only toilets are as well. You pay as you enter the car park, a bit like the Cotswold Wildlife Park, so in a way, the picnic area is in the zoo area, just not in the animal areas.
