In regards to the Central Chinese gorals at the park, how many are there. Also, what are their names, locations of birth, parents' names, and approximate dates of birth. Any information on births at The Wilds in the past would be greatly appreciated.
Where did you hear Akron might be getting gorals? The goral are only in short term holding at the zoo until their home zoo’s habitat is repaired. I doubt they’ve bred this year. I’m not sure which zoo they’re holding them for. Guide thought it might’ve been Los Angeles but I’ve also heard Akron or another Ohio zoo.
They had a male named ‘Bear’ and a female named ‘Wooley’ as of a few years ago. Not sure if either are still there though.
As reported on socials - he has been named Liam!It was just announced that a 1.0 Southern White Rhino calf was born on November 17th to mom, “Kali” and dad, “Kengele”. Hopefully this is the first of several calves born at the park this year!
