The Wilds The Wilds - Park News

Great news, I've been waiting for this for a while! Also, ig this confirms the three 2017 born males have left, they probably went somewhere like Rum Creek or White Oak since no zoo has announced their arrival.

Of the 26, 14 have been female and 12 male.
I do not think the male calves were sent to Rum Creek or White Oak, might have been private as a good number of male calves from the program have been allowed outside interest.

From Los Angeles Zoo's most recent animal transactions - a female Tufted Deer will soon arrive from LA as a new exhibit animal for the facility.
This is an interesting acquisition for the park given its setup. Unless they are building a new enclosure for them, I can only see them being mixed with or replacing the Chinese goral on the lake walking trail.

Visited today. Can confirm a few things:

The tufted deer have replaced the goral in the crane exhibits. They still have the goral but they are off exhibit for mating. The tufted deer are only on loan until LA builds a new exhibit for them.

The sable antelope are off exhibit for reasons my tour guide did not know.

The male Bactrian camel was killed in a fight with the male Indian rhino. The female and juvenile camels are temporarily off exhibit.

There are beetles on the property like the website claims. Their enclosure just isn’t accessible to the public

Oh, I forgot but they no longer have a TV in the guest building playing old Jack Hannah clips. He’s still on some things in the gift shop and on a billboard nearby.

I asked this to the Buffalo Zoo thread to no response, so I'll ask here as well. Does anyone know if these are purebred bison or not?
The bison are not actually a part of the park's collection. They belong to a neighboring farm that the park's staff sometimes assists with. Seeing as it is a commercial herd, I think it's safe to say they are not purebred.
I can confirm they are not purebred.
