tbf islands/rainforest/tropical has probably been the main guess for the last 2-3 DLCs. People will just keep guessing it until it inevitable comes. There’s no real evidence to suggest it’s next bar the fact people want animals that fit with those rather broad themes and so have seemingly come up with the idea they *must* be next because then they can squeeze several of their wishlist species into those concepts. Tree kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, new world monkeys, ocelots, coatis, kiwis, spectacled bears etc.
There’s equally as much evidence to suggest an Ireland pack as there is an Islands pack right now. 0.
And given the last three DLC themes have essentially been extremely broad/vague concepts of: animals considered endangered or critically endangered, Halloweeney/sort of night-time animals and animals that aren’t really found in forests. It could be any massive concept to squeeze whichever species the Devs want in to the game.
Is a siamang really the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks conservation/endangered animals? Are wombats particularly halloweeny animals? Are caracals, striped hyenas and red-neck wallabies really synonymous as grassland species?
