Parc animalier de Lussas

I don't mean to sound like "domestics bad" but from what I can tell by its website, this park seems more like a petting zoo rather than a standard zoo. I don't know if it is worth making a thread about unless it has plans to expand its collection and add wild animals.

Yes it's a small "petting" zoo, without interest in terms of rarities and "wild" species.
I will stop posting messages about this park, if it doesn't expand its collection.
(but what about a park specialized in rare domestic breeds ? It doesn't seem to be the case of this park, but such examples probably exist in France or elsewhere)

I know there was a discussion about the relevance of rare breeds on the Jimmy's Farm News thread. I forgot what the conclusion was but personaly news about rare breeds are more valuable than news about common breeds such as African pygmy goats and Cameroon sheep.

About the Meishan Pig (I add these facts because there have been skeptical posts about domestic animals news) : this breed is under conservation programs in its native country (China), even if it has gained popularity for a few decades in the West, it's a good breeder and its meat seems to be highly prized.
