Could someone let me know if this beaver park is an April Fools joke or legit?
San Antonio Zoo on Instagram: "San Antonio Zoo, in partnership with Buc-ee's, has acquired 50 acres adjacent to the future Buc-ee's location at I-10 & Main Street in Boerne, Texas. Plans are still in development, but the new zoo - Beaver Tales Wildlife Park, will be completely dedicated to the North American beaver. While the North American beaver has a conservation status of "Least Concern," both the zoo and Buc-ee's are thrilled to bring this iconic species to Texans and tourists alike, teaching the importance of beavers to the environment. Buc-ee's and San Antonio Zoo's Beaver Tales Wildlife Park is scheduled to open around 2025. The wildlife park will feature three realms representing different parts of North America. Experiences will include a gift shop (The Dam Store), a restaurant (Dam Good Eats), a Beaver Interaction Program (Meet The Beavers), and a hotel (The Beaver Lodge). A million dollar lawsuit has been filed against the San Antonio Zoo by the injured family - the zoo is stating they are not responsible, it was an unfortunate accident that was not the result of action or inaction by a zoo employee.
