Best Red River Hog enclosure in the Benelux

This is just a bit of fun to judge the general consensus on the best enclosure for Red River Hogs in the Benelux. I have added a few photos from the gallery to make it easier for members to compare the different exhibits. If anyone wants to make an argument for a particular enclosure, please feel free to do so. Also, I would encourage people to list the enclosures in order of what they think is the best.

The Malayan and South American tapir threads are closing tomorrow, and they are both in a draw at the moment, so if you want to vote or give an opinion on the exhibits do it soon before they close.

I could probably find some photos if you give me a little while. But I can tell you there isn't much to talk about. They're held in the second farm area in a pretty simple enclosure with little to no foliage. The enclosure is pretty similar to that of Pairi Daiza, but maybe about half the size

Here's a screenshot from a Youtube video uploaded two years ago. It has had some renovations since then but nothing extreme. The fence in the back is usually open, so this photo shows roughly half of the exhibit



I'm going to check a Dutch zoo website to see if they have better photos so check for updates

So apart from size different substrate and some water for red river hogs shade is important. For me ranking these enclosures is difficult the top 3 are very close, the middle consists of decent options and the bottom few is pretty bad. However this ranking is not set, with some argumentation this ranking could swap. So very difficult and variable.
First place is Gaia, then Blijdorp, third Overloon, Beekse Bergen, Ouwehands, Zie-zoo, Pairi daiza and last Emmen.

Score update. It’s close between Gaia and Rotterdam, with the latter slightly edging it. It seems that there is several enclosures here which are contenders.

Poll closed. Congratulations to Gaia for having the best Red River Hog enclosure in the Benelux. It was close, with them only getting one more vote them Rotterdam, but they got the win due to having a large enclosure win good substrate, though several enclosures here are pretty good, with the quality for RRHs in general being high. This is their fourth win so far.
