If I recall correctly, I saw them outside by the entrance of the ABH which faced towards the domestics. There may or may not be a large statue around there.Thank you for the helpful replies. I walked all round the Alfred brehm house, and was very impressed,, but missed those species.
The current maps are difficult to interpret and omit so many details.I also did not find the section with the birds of prey and raptors, I will have to go back!

Great news! But where are they kept in the park? Or
for now behind the scènes untill their new enclosure is ready? I also saw at zootierliste that they have red river hogs and I can’t remember where they keep these as well. And just the be sure about all suids in the park; the Visayan warty pigs share an exhibit with water Buffalo, right?![]()
I'm going to the Tierpark during september and I wanted to know if the Barred eagle-owl was still there. Because I heard he was dead but he is still notified on Zootierliste...
Where did you hear that?
On Facebook there are some pictures of the owl dating from April and May. And I also remember a short entry and picture of it in some forum or Facebook group which - apparently - I cannot find any more. So unfortunately, I cannot positively confirm it's still alive. But I also didn't learn anything about it's death. Normally, I would assume this news to get around if it happened.
