I may have this wrong

I think the female had twins then one died. The mother then died within 6 months ish. The remaining calf I think moved to the Scottish Deer centre(again I may have this wrong)

Two-month-old Eurasian elk calves born at The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) Highland Wildlife Park have been named. Chosen by keepers at the wildlife conservation charity, the female calf has been named Wren and the male calf has been named Goose. Bird-themed names were chosen for the brother and sister duo with their dad, Raven, in mind:

Wildcat kittens which will likely be released into the wild in 2024 as part of the Saving Wildcats partnership project have been born for a second year running at the Saving Wildcats conservation breeding for release centre at the Highland Wildlife Park.

The partnership has welcomed 11 kittens in four litters so far with the Saving Wildcats team hopeful for more births in coming weeks:

Had a wonderful visit to HWP yesterday. No major news to note other than 1.3 Vicuna are in one of the drive through enclosures, apparently they have been there since June but I don't think their arrival has been mentioned yet. The 3 new hubs that will comprise Scotland's Wildlife Discovery Centre are also taking shape nicely.

The first round of wildcat releases in Scotland has been completed by Saving Wildcats, led by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) in partnership with NatureScot, Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS), The Cairngorms National Park Authority, Nordens Ark and Consejería de Sostenibilidad, Medio Ambiente y Economía Azul de la Junta de Andalucía.

19 wildcats, which were released in small clusters in locations within the Cairngorms National Park and Cairngorms Connect landscape throughout the summer, have been tracked daily using GPS-radio collars:
