I like the idea of an oceania pack, though personally, I'd prefer a tree kangaroo to the quokka (we already have two terrrestrial macropods), and I think the rockhopper penguin would be more interesting than the little blue, because you may be able to combine it with either of the other penguin species. I'd love to have mixed penguin habitats!
The Tasmanian devil and North Island brown kiwi are no-brainer habitat animals, but my greatest wish is for walk-through lorikeets. Pleeeeease at least include them.:rolleyes:
 
I totally agree that I would prefer to see the Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo added more than a Quokka, also a Lorikeet aviary walkthrough as they are so popular in zoos now and allow guests to feed them.

If this isn't a proper Islands pack, then I hope there will be one at some point to include species from the Philippines, Madagascar, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Sri Lanka etc.

I too would prefer the tree kangaroo, as most people probably do. I am confident on the Tasmanian devil and kiwi. I don’t know where everyone is getting the penguin though, could someone elaborate?
 
Am I the only one that thinks that the new brachiation for the Bornean orangutan could possibly point towards the addition of the Sumatran orangutan?

no, i don't think people would like to have a second orangutan, there are hardly any distinct differences between the bornean and sumatran orangutan, unlike the gibbons that we have that are very distinct from each other.

Argentina pack:
- Southern pudu
- Greater rhea
- Patagonian cavy
- Maybe a specie of penguin, Humboldt, Magellanic, or southern rockhopper
- Screaming hairy armadillo
- Southern coati
- False water cobra
- Bumblebee toad

If we must fit in the fall aesthetic with a "Temperate Pack," here's an idea:
- A bear specie- American black, spectacled, or Asiatic black
- North American porcupine
- Tanuki
- White-tailed or Pere David's deer
- Leopard frog
- Red-eared slider turtle
- Anderson's crocodile newt
 
Out of curiosity, what makes people so confident in the quokka? Like how did the drink play into the hint?

The drink dealt with smiling, and quokka are well known for their smile

I feel like this may be dumb, but could the flower drink represent a species of hummingbird? It might be the easiest bird to make as we have the bats and butterflies (which fly and like flowers).

But here is my prediction:
Oceania Pack:
Quokka (Second Tree Kangaroo)
Tasmanian Devil (This is making it)
North Island Brown Kiwi (same as Devil)
Little Blue Penguin (Rockhopper Penguin)
Hummingbird sp

Happy with this, Tassie and Kiwi were overdue at this point. Getting Quokka so soon after their return to Europe is also very nice, was hoping we'd get them. Cool with the other two as well, personally would have preferred different species of penguin and bat but I'll take them.

Scenery looks nice and the free update is very exciting, especially the orangutan update!

The kind of line-up that would've been really bizarre choices a year or two ago, but at this stage are very welcome.

And I've always had a soft-spot for that flying fox species. :D

Not a bad pack. The Tasmanian Devil was on pretty much everybody's wish list so a great addition. The Quokka also not a bad addition. I would have preferred a bird species like the Rainbow Lorikeet more than another Penguin.

The bubble domes are an amazing addition to the game.

As this is not a proper world Islands pack, I still think an Islands animal pack will be out there one day with 8 amazing species including the Tree Kangaroo.
 
Tasmanian Devil and Kiwi are great, Quokka is OK but Tree Kangaroo is better since we already have two ground Macropodiformes species. Why Little Blue Penguin, we don't need three Penguin species, Takahe, Kagu, Lyrebird even Black Swan, Australian Pelican are all better choices. I also don't really like the Spectacled Flying Fox since it is another clone species, I would prefer flying bird species like Parrot, Kookaburra or Tawny Frogmouth

honestly, i wasn't expecting something like that, i thought we would get something like an islands pack or temperate or woodlands pack, but still it's a better pack then the last one.

This is great! The Kiwi is my favorite animal, with the Little Blue Penguin in my top 5. The Tasmanian Devil is long overdue as it has been #1 on the wishlist for a while now. The Quokka, while rare in zoos, is super adorable and is impossible to hate their addition. The Spectaled Flying Fox is probably the best Non-bird option for the walkthrough as it is definitely one of the coolest of its kind, and I personally felt we needed Austrliasia bat representation as Flying Foxes for that region are some of the most common in zoos. I will definitely be purchasing this pack!
 
Ah, I don't like saying it because I love this game but this is probably the first ever 'miss' for me. The first pack where there's not a single animal that excites me. As I said before, this is a dream for Oceanian players but for me as a European, specifically mostly British, builder, its quite underwhelming. Never thought I'd actually say this of a planet zoo dlc but I actually will wait for a sale before purchase, because the scenery is the only thing I'll use in any sizeable capacity.

Like I get people were miffed by the Arid pack being African animals only but at least they're found in zoos across the globe in decent numbers. All of these animals are in a mere handful of zoos outside of Oceania - incredibly uncommon. I really think the Goodfellow's tree kangaroo over the quokka would've boosted this pack significantly for me. It keeps it strong for Oceanians but also gives something for non-Oceanians. It also seems kind of insane to me this game is going to have three penguins and two bats but neither the Humboldt penguin or Rodriguez's flying fox will be in game...

Also can't find the flying fox on zootierliste? Even under the latin name?
