The lynx are not the cryptic species . They were being advertised at the zoo when I visited in January and lynx are not a species held in only 2 collections.

A pair of dwarf mongoose pups were born on 24th Feb. Again to mum ‘Goose’, the father is ‘Stasher’. Marking the second time pups have been born at the park (and I believe the first time they’ve been bred there).

A black and white colobus (Colobus guereza) has been born to Makena and Maarten.

The pair, who just turned two years old, arrived at Drusillas Zoo Park on 24 May after being transferred from Wild Place Project in Bristol - where they were born.

A quarter of a million pounds has been spent building a custom enclosure to recreate their native European woodland habitat.

A pair of silvery marmosets were born on 26th of April to Pearl and Bonny. Yet to be sexed, the park are running a competition to name them!

Two meerkats were born to Tamu and Tyson on the 24th of May and are starting to leave their den.

they’re the 18th and 19th offspring from the pair!

Recently 10 Humboldt penguins (Spheniscus humboldti) arrived at the zoo.

One of the Tufted Capuchins, Jimmy, has passed away at 27. He was a resident at the park for 14 years.

You'll have to wait and see, there are always things going on behind the scenes which I can't talk about so it's a waiting game to see when it's public sadly.

A trio of dwarf mongoose pups have been born to Goose and Stasher, their third litter in this past year after Maverick (Aug 22) and Halo and Phoenix (Mar 23).

A baby sloth has been born to mum Helena in the bat walkthrough.

For some reason they haven't posted anything about them anywhere else on their social media but yes they do have a pair of them on display now.

Drusillas have now officially announced their Yellow-Throated Martens.
Drusillas Park on Instagram: "HUGE NEWS We are so excited to welcome a brand new species to our family - say hello to Niko and Sasha our yellow-throated martens! It’s likely you’ve never heard of them, and that’s because we are now one of just two zoos in the whole of the UK to hold them. No prizes for guessing there they get their name from this remarkable species is a real ‘bucket list’ for our keepers who are thrilled to have the privilege of working with them. Niko and Sasha, are settling in very well, making themselves at home in their brand new enclosure, showing off their smarts by solving food puzzles and exploring various enrichment toys on offer, and scoffing their favourite gourmet snack: frog legs! Zoo Animal Manager, Mark Kenward said of getting to know them: “Both are very interactive with keepers and have noticeably individual personalities. Sasha is very confident and playful with her food, you can spot her throwing things around and having a whale of a time! Niko is a lot more laid back and quite reserved, but they both really enjoy the enrichment that we give and are good puzzle solvers, we love dreaming up activities to keep them busy!” Come along and be some of the first to see them!"
