Hi ZooChat!
Been lurking for about a month, but figured now's the time to actually make an account and contribute to the conversations I love reading about. My name's Ing, which you can use or my username, Lionsbian (a play on my love for all lion species and being a lesbian). My pronouns are she/her/hers.
I currently live in Los Angeles and moved here in 2022 for my job, which is actually being a plush/stuffed animal designer. I am originally from New England (MA), however, as is my partner, and we are big zoo lovers. We hold a membership at the LA Zoo, as well as Buttonwood Park Zoo, as Buttonwood is the local zoo to my parents and VERY near and dear to my heart (Emily the elephant is my pfp).
I have been to a handful of zoos and aquariums across the country; we recently hit my bucket list of the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park this June. Some of my all time faves are St Louis Zoo, Georgia Aquarium, Animal Kingdom, Roger Williams, and Toronto.
I look forward to joining conversations when I can as well as reading!
