Female Black and white colobus monkeys arrive:

They are Nali (eight years old) and her daughters Ate (3 years old) and Phyllis (two years old).

The new additions come from the Lincoln Children's Zoo in Nebraska.

The Zoo already has a male colobus monkey, Sheldon, housed at the colobus exhibit near the African Outpost. Nali and her children will ultimately join Sheldon in the exhibit after a 30-day quarantine.

They already have a red panda that's using the old snowy owl exhibit for the time being.

Didn't the Louisville Zoo, as of a few years ago, claim to have the only red panda walk-through enclosure (in the country?, hemisphere?, world?)? If I remember correctly, that title was actually misleading.

On October 2nd, the zoo announced that they transferred a (1.0) jaguar named LeBron to the Little Rock Zoo in Arkansas. The former exhibit will be a part of a new exhibit for red pandas.

I find it very disappointing that jaguars are being removed for red pandas.

Me too. What's going to happen to South America now that the jaguars are leaving and the guanaco exhibit is empty?
