What are some unique and rare species in Japan?

I am going to Osaka in about 1 month and 25 days time and I'm wondering about the unique and different rare species in Japanese zoos. For example, the Tennoji Zoo in Osaka has the only kiwi bird in Japan, and the Saitama Childrens Zoo near Tokyo has not only Japan's only quokkas, but the only quokkas outside of Australia I believe. My plan for this trip is to visit the zoo itself, the enormous Kaiyukan Aquarium and an zoo/aquarium/museum called NIFREL. I hope that I get the chance to see the unique species that only these facilities hold. So, I want to get to know the diverse and interesting species that only specific Japanese zoos hold. Thank you.

About the quokkas : now they are present in Stuttgart for a few months. So this species is represented outside of Australia, and Japan.
 
A list of some of the rarer species in Japan that you don't usually find in other countries:
Dwarf Sawfish
Copper Shark
Whale Shark
Amazon Manatee
Dugong
Black Faced Spoonbill
Red Headed woodpigeon
and a bunch of deep sea creatures.

Enoshima holds some jellyfish that are not present anywhere else in the world. Also, I hope you are traveling outside of Osaka, possibly to Tokyo. There are wonderful things here that you may not be aware of from your current research.
 
Unfortunately, I am not able to go outside of Osaka except for the countryside nearby, and I don’t think a zoo is located there
 
Update: I am going to Japan in 23 days and have researched way too early about the zoos there. The last time I went to Osaka was 2019 and so far, a new sea lion enclosure has been made in the Tennoji Zoo and a section of the Nifrel aquarium/zoo/museum has been renovated to be a sea creature section
 
Are cassowaries and rheas in Japan? For cassowaries I got sources that the Tobu Zoo is the only one in Japan to keep them, and for rheas it's just one video from 2016 or 2018 of them.

Fukuoka zoo and Fukuyama zoo keep double-wattled cassowaries while Ehime Prefecture Tobe zoo has a Papuan cassowary. Greater rhea could be found in Fukuyama zoo and Parking Gardens.

Sadly the last T-devil from Tama Zoo died on October 13th. Are Rock Wallabies that rare?

Anyways, I guess many Japanese Zoos have friendships with their Australian Counterparts, thus resulting in Species trade.
