I was just looking on thier website and saw that they have rhinoceros iguana. It surprised me because I've never seen one (that I can remember) and can't think of any other zoos that hold them.

And if anyone has a map they wouldn't mind sharing I'd be really interested. :)

Taronga deffinatly has Rhinoceros iguana and ISIS lists them at Symbio, Australia zoo and the National Zoo and Aquarium

Oh wow...I hadn't realised that were as common as they are. Thanks for that Torie.

If you do the adventure tour (or whatever it's called) at the National Zoo & Aquarium you usually get to feed the rhinoceros iguanas

Not sure if Gorge have them Steve, I know he was doing a reptile house but havent visited since (other than picking up a swampie joey)

I never saw any at Australia Zoo, but i spose everything there is out the back :P

Is anywhere (in Australia) breeding them, or are they all imports?

Back in the 1970's Taronga bred so many Rhino Iguanas they were able to repatriate about 200 to the wild in the Dominican Republic.
