I really dislike when a section is one worded, examples are, “Africa, Asia, North America,” but I do like it, as I study this subject as much as I do about animals, a section based on a historic region, nation, or event, for example, in one of my 40 fantasy zoos, in Ankara, I have a region dedicated to the fauna of the entire region that the Ottomans took over, calling it, “The Old Empire,” showcasing the wildlife of the historic nation of the Ottomans.

Always love the usage of words like Odyssey, Trail, Camp, Voyage, Plunge, Trek, and Expedition. IMO they are always going to invite the visitors into exploring the exhibits and discover the animals inside, which always makes it exciting.

Geographical names and not just the continent itself, is also always exciting to me. Think like Watani, Kilimanjaro, Mississippi, Indonesia, etc. is always going to be more interesting than just Africa, Asia, or North America.

My favourite enclosure name of all time was “The Top Six”:

These were demolished years ago but they housed hamadryas baboons, and before that, various species of monkey (mandrills, baboons, macaques etc).

They were at the front or “top end” of the zoo.

Horrible enclosures though but a cool name….
