What football (soccer) teams do you support?

Every season, I create a new thread in this forum corresponding to the new football seasons starting. It's fun, but since it's mainly for general football discussion, which teams different people support is rarely shared, which is why I created this thread.

I'm a life-long supporter of Bristol City, formally a semi-regular first division team but now essentially a midtable Championship club. There was hope of some sort of small revival after a promising summer transfer window, but that has all but died thanks to a (in my opinion, stupid) decision by the owners to sack former manager Nigel Pearson, replacing him with former Oxford United gaffer Liam Manning. Even if the owners have publicly said they want us to push for promotion to the Premier League, most fans (myself included) doubt that's possible at the moment. What about the rest of you?

I support Chelsea. I live in New Zealand and don’t take an active role in following them; but I was born in England where football was an integral part of my culture. :)

Stoke City. Stoke holds records that no other team will ever beat.

First team to finish bottom
First team to finish bottom in successive seasons.
First team to be voted out of the football league.
First league team to lose to non-league opposition in the FA Cup

Let's see all the mega rich clubs better that. :D

I have no interest in football, but sometimes I wish I did, just so I could support Brimscombe & Thrupp. They have such a fantastic name.

I support Burnley, I was a season ticket holder when I was younger, however, had more of an interest in zoos and wildlife when I got older. I still attend as many games as I can, though at the moment, it is a dire time to be a Burnley fan with how current win/loss ratio :p

In EPL, Manchester United. Great suffering i've endured over the past few years lol.
I'm getting invested on my local league (Hong Kong Premier League, yes we have our own league and cup competition etc., separated from the football system in mainland) this season though, North District FC being my home team, but the level of hong kong football is quite low. (I guess its similar to the national league? I think that's a suitable comparison for the footballing level?)

How is the atmosphere at those games? Is football popular in Hong Kong?

Football is certainly popular here, just not local football :D You rarely get over a thousand fans watching league games, and most people dont really care about the local league (see how I mentioned i only get into it this year, but i've been watching european football/supporting man united for a few years now.)
There's some passionate fans for sure though, and I really do enjoy it this year. There's something in the league that feels different.

I’ve been a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa, and it’s been really exciting seeming them so so well this season. Fingers crossed we’re able to keep up our momentum! I also half-follow Minnesota United, but it’s been ages since I’ve watched a game.

Yeah, unfortunately all I'm hearing is title contenders and best season in decades... I have a lot of friends who support those that shall not be named, and that is another reason I'm pretending football was never invented... :D;)
Also hearing similar stuff from you know who fans, sorry but being a Baggies fan I can't name them. I'm really praying for better days, the situation at the Hawthorns has been dire.
