Does anyone know what other animals, if any, are still held on the old Zoo site apart from the Gorillas?
Not 100% sure, but I think the Fur Seals are still there.

The planning application for the new black rhinoceros, Okapi and Mandrill enclosures along with the operations hub, conservation campus and new walled garden aviaries has been submitted
There are 4 Rhinoceros Paddocks, 2/3 (Its unclear) Okapi Paddocks and a total of 10 new aviaries in the walled garden
In the application they've said that the construction dates for these enclosures are indefinite
If you search “Blackhorse hill” or Bristol zoo project on south gold council website under planning applications it should come up as the first resultMay I ask where you can find these applications?

Be nice to have a frontal and side views of the new exhibit for Philippine deer. Hopefully, they will add on Visayas warty pigs too.a very exciting update from todays visit as well as some small things
they’ve updated some of the signage for the giraffe which are now detailed on the sign as reticulated giraffe (I think this was probably done ahead of the giraffe conference) and new blue eyed black lemurs signs, they look much fresher then the other ones
the ostriches were very affectionate towards eachother so hopefully eventually there will be the pitter patter of little ostrich feet
A keepers said the blue eyed black lemurs cannot go in the walkthrough as both were hand reared so rather then what people thought that they would be too shy, they would most likely jump on people, they were also very affectionate towards one another
finally the Philippine spotted deer are going where the goats used to be and it looks like the goats are temporarily in the ostrich holding area, this is a rough diagram as a keeper said they need to do some planting and obviously quite a lot of work before they move in however the fence of the old goat enclosure is all gone

Following on to the planning papers, it would be nice to know what will happen where the Sumatra Rainforest (where the new a.o. Rhino Housing will be - for the African Savannah) and British Habitats (Gorilla-Mangabey, Mandrill, Okapi, Crocodile-Parrot - Central African Forest) were sited.Be nice to have a frontal and side views of the new exhibit for Philippine deer. The new exhibit is almost complete i think and they didn't need planning permission as they're using existing structures for the spotted deer's indoor enclosureBe nice to have a frontal and side views of the new exhibit for Philippine deer. Hopefully, they will add on Visayas warty pigs too.
Still be nice to have those photographic front and sideviews so we can better visualise the new Philippine deer exhibit. The new exhibit is almost complete i think and they didn't need planning permission as they're using existing structures for the spotted deer's indoor enclosure
