Thanks, Dave! I was hoping he'd mention the tree-kangaroos living in Rio at the time. Could not find any info on them, though... I'm still trying to find out what species they were, but all I could gather were some very low-quality black and white photographs from the 1970s and early 1980s. I'm not even sure where they came from originally (the pair that arrived in 1975 were from São Paulo, but I don't know their actual country of origin)!

When I get a chance - probably after Christmas - I'll go back through all my 1970s IZN back issues for any shorter news items, annual reports and suchlike with a bearing on your general area of interest, or indeed that specific subject :) it's always possible something may be mentioned in passing!

Thank you in advance!

I have now scanned the three articles in question; however, they are long enough that the resulting file sizes are too large to attach to this post. As such, if you sent me a private message with a contact email address I shall send the files to you directly :)

The zoological collections in question are in Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, unfortunately - I can still scan it in if you are interested, though.

I sure will send you! Thanks a lot again, Davey!

I have now added information relating to eight editions published in 1990 within this post.

At this point, I have now caught up (for now) with the backlog created by dozens of additional editions of IZN being added to my personal collection, and I will be able to continue moving forwards into hitherto undiscussed periods of time :p
