The Giant anteaters are on the Pampas enclosure, between the Jaguars and the flamingos in the Southwest corner of the zoo. The reptiles you mentioned should all be on-show, they're found in the reptile house, which is above the Pelican and Spider monkey pond, next to the bird house and the forest house in the Northwest corner of the zoo
Sorry, just realised I didn't finish my sentence properly, was going to say there's a few reptile listings on zootierliste I have questions about, as I couldn't see them in the reptile house. Possibly just off display at the time of my visit then, thank you for the information!

As far as I know both the green iguana and the Chinese water dragons are no longer kept at the zoo. The green iguana passed away last year (was kept in the butterfly greenhouse), the Chinese water dragons have been swapped between on and off show reguarly.
The reticulated python is still kept in the reptile house and the Gastropholis are not yet on show.

Indeed the giant anteaters can be found on the Pampas enclosure, but given their old age the current cold weather, they will mostly be inside (which is off show).

Yesterday I went to Artis, not much had changed.

However there is a new species in the small mammal house! Namely Round-eared elephant shrews (Macroscelides proboscideus). They have returned at the zoo after 9 years of absence, they can be found in the former four-toed hedgehog enclosure.

According to a sign, the Persian jird (Meriones persicus) enclosure is currently not inhabited. I am not sure whether they are currently behind the scenes or have left the zoo.

Recently 6 African penguins (Spheniscus demersus) hatched.

During a recent visit, I noticed that the Blue ground-doves (Claravis pretiosa) are now signed together with the degus at the small mammal house. I haven't seen the doves yet. They used to live in an outside aviary at the Vogelhuis, this aviary currently houses no birds (not sure why).

Today I went to Artis and saw a new species on show, namely a Guira cuckoo (Guira guira)! This individual was kept in a seperate aviary in the Monkeyhouse, eventually they will be free flying in this house. According to a volunteer the zoo received 3 females, but I only saw one.
This makes Artis the only zoo in the Netherlands with this species!

Anyone know where I can find a species list for Artis? Can't see on website.

Zootierliste is decently accurate for Artis, but it has quite a long list because they still include the aquarium despite it being closed at the moment. What do you need it for?

Thank you. Was just planning a visit in the new year but was struggling to find a species list. Will have a glimpse at zootierliste but know its not exactly exact.

This link will bring you to the Dutch overview page of the animal collection, sadly this page is not available in English. Click on "Dieren" to get an overview of the animals in the zoo. Bare in mind that this list is not 100% up to date.

ZTL is mostly up to date, apart from the aquarium.

If you are interested in a specfic species or want more information for your visit, feel free to send me a DM. I would be more than happy to help.
