I believe, with my best googling and Wikipedia abilities all those submissions are valid *crosses fingers*

Do they actually sign Fat-tailed Gerbils with "duprasi" as the common name?
Just looked at some pictures. Yes, they do.

Or “Duprasi’s” even. With an errant apostrophe?

Below this is the scientific name as above.

Below this is a section on “distribution”, in which they are referred to as fat tailed gerbils also.

23. Black-and-rufous Elephant Shrew (Rhynchocyon petersi)

I don’t think these count.

@ZooBinh , following up also on my earlier question regarding feathertail gliders. It seems pretty compelling that they should be included, on the basis that they get around in much the same way Petaurus gliders do, but it’s not explicitly clear.

For simplicity, as my list might get quite long by mid-year, I’m going to break up the list by taxonomic group and then note an overall total: 11.

Just making a small correction to my earlier list, the species I saw was actually Geoffroy's Marmoset (Callithrix geoffroyi), not Common Marmoset. I always get the two mixed up.

Well in that case, that adds 3 new additions I saw yesterday. I do really like these new additions to the challenge and make it a lot more fun and a lot less complicated!
3) Golden Lion Tamarin (Leontopithecus rosalia)
4) Goeldi’s Monkey (Callimico goeldii)
5) Cotton Top Tamarin (Saguinus oedipus)
One species to add today, but posting it now so I don’t forget

6) Elk (Cervus canadensis)

I don’t think these count.

You are correct. Not sure why I included them as I was double checking all to be sure I could include them. I'm down to 25 for now. Have a few visits to add later today or tomorrow.
