I'm so sad I didn't get to see Kenny in November. He was molting at the time and was burried deep in the exhibit substrate!

I have very exciting news to share from my visit today!
- The American Flamingo flock is back in the Flamingo Lagoon exhibit (by the entrance). Waterfowl species such as Hooded merganser, Ashy Headed goose, White faced whistling duck, etc. are still in the marsh aviary with the Greater Flamingos for the time being.
- Funani and Amahle the Common Hippos are back in their Ituri Forest exhibit with new signage throughout. Okapi/Duiker are still not back on exhibit.

That's great! So then the hippos are now visible to the public again I assume?
The hippos have been on display the entire time. They were just moved to the former greater one-horned rhinoceros exhibit in Urban Jungle for the renovations.

Yes, they are back in their original/newly renovated exhibit in Ituri Forest which is an area in Lost Forest.

Other news is on the San Diego Zoo app, it says that the orangutans, siamangs, and mandrills are currently off exhibit.

Is Musi sharing the same space as Nipho and Sundzu?
Not yet, but I believe that they do intend to integrate him with the other two boys once he settles in.
