SEA LIFE Weymouth Do I remember this right?

In 2000 I remember going to Weymouth Sea Life Park for the first time. There was also another wildlife attraction just outside of it which was a tropical house type building. I remember the only animal I saw was a bird escaping and there seemed to be no staff whatsoever. Does anyone else remember this? If so what happened to it?

I've not been to Weymouth for years but they have (had?) a walkthrough rainforest building within the park itself. I don't recall any birds myself (again, it was a very long time ago) but maybe that's what you're thinking of?

There used to be a Butterfly Farm near the Weymouth SeaLife Centre (which, in addition to butterflies, displayed various other invertebrates and some birds too).

It was originally under separate ownership but was subsequently taken over by the SeaLife Centre and renamed the Tropical Jungle.

I think this must be the place. Seems it had more of a history than I thought
