@Leaf Productions @Nicholas LionRider Please read this part of the OP:
There is no official deadline to join; however, anyone who joins the game after May 31 can only count eligible species from their two most recent zoo visits.

Leaf: if you'd like to join, I can count any eligible species you saw at your two most recent visits - those being Biomes Marine Biology Center and whatever facility you visited last on June 9.

Nicholas: you *can* join and receive credit, but only for any eligible species you saw at Zoo Atlanta and Georgia Aquarium.

I will give you both time to 1) decide if you still want to join in for the year, and 2) if so, redo your lists so all eligible species from your two most recent visits are accounted for.

Hi kind sir my question is what do you count as recent visit because I went to five zoo in a day so would I only count one zoo out of there or the whole day thank you kind regards

Possibly the final Roger Williams Park Zoo exhibit animal (dependent on if bat-eared foxes come back on-show), plus an addition from the mini bird show:
46. King Vulture- Sarcoramphus papa
47. Aplomado Falcon- Falco femoralis
Finally got the chance today to sit down and see some of Roger Williams Park Zoo's bird show. This might be all I get from this zoo for the summer:
48. Red-Legged Seriema- Cariama cristata
49. Milky Eagle Owl- Bubo lacteus
50. Hooded Vulture- Necrosyrtes monachus

By "most recent visit" I mean whichever one zoo was your last of the day that day - i.e. the one closest in time to now.

I mean, June 9th was only three days ago- it does seem like it'd be reasonable to let the entire day count. Especially seeing that many members don't post their updated stats until a day or two after visiting a zoo.

that’s a bit silly since I went to so many in a day, I wasn’t going to go ahead and stop my trip mid drive to add some silly little animals to a challenge lol
im fine if it doesn’t count tbh im just in these for fun tallies lol

None of what you said has anything to do with the rule I cited. There was a deadline that was missed, after which the rules for what counts is different. The rule I made (which IMHO I wrote out pretty clearly) is that I will count the two most recent visits. Five visits in one day isn't one visit, it's five. It could have been posted evening of the same day and I still wouldn't have counted the whole day.

If someone hadn't visited any zoos prior to June and them visits a bunch of zoos in a single day, would they still only be able to count their last two visits? That doesn't seem fair if that's the case.

That is a fringe case, for which I might choose to make an exception.

"What if" scenarios can be dealt with if and when they arise.

I have just gotten back from my most adventurous trip yet, in which I visited 7 zoological facilities in the New York City area last week. This includes all 5 facilities under the Wildlife Conservation Society umbrella, as well as two other facilities I knocked out. This puts me at 20 facilities visited this year, of which 13 are entirely new facilities, making this my most productive year yet.

My trip has netted me 12 eligible species. I saw almost everything that was present and eligible with one notable exception; Queens Zoo's coyotes, which were no-shows.

New species and facilities since my last post are in bold. Do note that each species is only counted once.
