I think that kulans have been long gone from the zoo since their old exclosure at the bottom of the hill by the cheetah compounds was emptied off hoofstock. The 2 female kulan were transferred to Plzen Zoo - I believe -. The only zoo in the Czech Republic that currently maintains a breeding group of this sturdy beautiful equid species. This area is planned to become the new polar bear area....No. Apart of that map, there is no mention anywhere the zoo wants to start with the species.
Zoo Praha holds an all male Mhorr dama gazelle group now.The zoo has announced that dama gazelles are on display and that they can be found in front of the restaurant Gulab. The zoo also announced that the gazelles are accompanied by Kirk’s dikdiks.
What I do find peculiar is that the current zoo map has an icon for kulan in the Across the Continents portion up the hill.
