Hello everyone! I'm a university student from Denmark, who is really interested in apes and love going to the zoo! I've recently gotten into photographing apes and monkeys and I'm hoping I'll be able to share some of my pictures. I have also shared photos on instagram and flickr but as I've been using zoochat myself a lot for information about zoos and the animals residing there (especially chimpanzees) I thought sharing some pictures here will be fitting as well, as it seems there is not lot of information about the current apes in Denmark!

Haha that definitely plays a part! It's hard to pick, I think Givskud would have been my top pick if it wasn't for how many cars there is. I love how big it is and the animal areas feel big and natural. Odense probably is my pick, it feels very spacious and even in the summer vacation there's not many people. They have a good selection of animals and in general have some good enclousures! What about you?:)

I’m also a big fan of Odense, but also of Randers, though it’s been quite a long time since i last was there. I’m also nostalgic and thus biased for Copenhagen zoo, though i’m well aware that it isn’t the best (especially if we’re talking great apes:eek:)

I used to visit Randers Regnskov a lot when I was kid but I haven't been in ages! I'm planning to visit again soon though!
I like Copenhagen a lot too, it's the one I've visited the most since I really love their chimpanzees. Right now their enclosure isn't amazing since they only have an indoor area, but when the outdoor area opens in the fall I think it'll be one of the top chimpanzee enclosures in Europe!
