Reptiles that have been are being saved by captive breeding

continuing the series this time with reptiles.
This is what I have :
Jamaican Iguana
Zhou's box turtle
McCord's box turtle
Yunnan box turtle
Manning river turtle
Western swamp tortoise
Seychelles giant tortoise
Arnolds giant tortoise
Pinzon giant Galapagos tortoise
Espanola giant Galapagos tortoise
Siamese crocodile

I think that there is a much longer list of greatly assisted by captive breeding but
most or all on the above list would be extinct or functionally so if not for. Siamese croc might
be debatable.

Maybe be more specific what it means saving by captive breeding. Would animal need to be extinct in the wild, or how much captive breeding should actually contribute to its numbers?

Chinese alligators are apparently not a sustainable wild population since decades, but more like singles and small groups in isolated ponds among farmland. The species seems to be maintained by captive animals.

yeah its kind of a fine line. Most on the list were EW or at least functionally so. Chinese alligators
were certainly close to that level but as far as I know (and I could be wrong) they never really got there. The list of reptiles/other animals that skirted extinction with the aid of captive breeding
is certainly a much longer list
