Hello, I am a wildlife & zoo photographer living in Japan (Shinjuku, to be specific). I've been doing bird photography for a while now, but during August there weren't a lot of birds so I decided to visit some zoos. I was instantly hooked. I'm not as knowledgeable about animals as you guys so I will be reading more than posting - but I promise to share information about zoos nonetheless. Being an avid birder is definitely an added plus given Japan's own native bird fauna. You must get around alot! Anyhow, your perspective and experiences in zoos in Japan you visit will be well appreciated. Plus any news or new developments or births and new animals you come across .... the possibilities are endless.
