so this year has been a big year for me! I finally got to work with an endangered species and learn all about them: The black-footed ferret!!
Did you know?: There are only approximately 400 black-footed ferrets in the wild now
September 26 is National Black-footed ferret rediscovery day! A ranch Dog ended up finding a dead ferret which resulted in the discovery of a small population of black-footed ferrets in Michigan.
They also are susceptible to sylvatic plague and their main diet are prairie dogs!
