The deers were surplus from night safari, but the deers are not really in open view, usually in the spaces behind the pigscause on the nutrional board at kidzworld they put what they feed the indian hog deer and axis deer but i dont see them there
Definitely not all of them but I was able to find these from an Instagram page run by the Australasia keepers. Not sure if all of them are still around
Kangaroos: Rambo, Hiro, Hana, Maxx, Roddy
Wallabies: Shawn, Nelas
Apparently the current plans for the Reptopia aviary... is to have Philippine crocodile mixed with crowned pigeon..
Not the reptile-bird mixes they should be thinking of having (add more birds to Tortoise Shellter). Weren't the Philippine crocodiles supposed to go to Rainforest Wild?Apparently the current plans for the Reptopia aviary... is to have Philippine crocodile mixed with crowned pigeon..
Could be a temporary holding area for the time being for the crocs. Not the reptile-bird mixes they should be thinking of having (add more birds to Tortoise Shellter). Weren't the Philippine crocodiles supposed to go to Rainforest Wild?
At least smaller birds could probably get out of the way. Or bring back plumed basilisks and green iguanas, idk why they moved the Neotropical reptiles like basilisks and mata mata off display
Did they really need a 4th Chinese crocodile lizard exhibit when the same building already has 2 paludariums with them. Is this new king cobra a separate individual from the one already there? Some simple things to update, all from Reptopia:
- The former Reticulated and Burmese Python enclosure has been changed to house an ABSOLUTE UNIT of a King Cobra, enclosure is a lot more lush too
- Chinese Crocodile Lizard taken over the former Caiman Lizard Enclosure (The one originally for the Elephant Trunk Snake)
- Roti Island Snake-Necked Turtle moved to the outdoor enclosure that formerly held the Chinese Alligator, additionally the signboard now calls it a "Rote Island" instead of Roti Island
- Gaboon Vipers have returned to their old enclosure (The one that was taken by Mexican Beaded Lizards), though their former enclosure however is currently being upgraded
- Aviary is still closed, but railings have been added (Image provided)
- The enclosure that houses the CaseOh of Reticulated Pythons now also houses the Burmese Python and apparently the Reticulated Python Bubbles on the signboard, though did not spot an additional Reticulated Python
- Mexican Beaded Lizards were stated in the signboard together with the Gila Monster and Rattlesnake, however did not see them
Is the king cobra exhibit now empty?

Rote Island is indeed the proper Indonesian name and funny how the tiny turtles need more space than the Chinese alligator
Nope, still houses that same King Cobra. We've just got a bigger one in the Python enclosure
I have a feeling that Crocodile Lizard might be temporary, hopefully.
If I am not mistaken, all the Shinisaurus will be moved there, so the paludariums that previously had them may be freed up for other species.
Plus, it was only a matter of time for the Rotes, there has been talks for a long time to move them into a much more suitable, well-sheltered, adequately-sized enclosure to facilitate breeding. At least this move guarantees that visitors can still see them, unlike the giant, but unviewable, turtle breeding beach at Night Safari.
Is the Crocodile Lizard the one from Fragile Forest? The Zoo only has 3 of them in total.
