This was my species list for the Children's Zoo in 2021, if it jogs your memory at all:

Blue-and-gold Macaw, Red-and-green Macaw
Galapagos Giant Tortoise (C. vandenburghi)
American Flamingo, Chilean Flamingo
Common Squirrel Monkey (presumed - spp not specified), Red-rumped Agouti
Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey
Lorikeets (Rainbow, Coconut, Black-capped, possibly others)
Red-necked Wallaby and Tammar Wallaby (both unsigned)
Koi and unsigned turtles
American Alligator (hatchlings)
Alligator Snapping Turtle (hatchlings)

Expedition Africa added a huge amount of species to OKC... I'll have to count it up later, but this might be among the largest zoo collections in the US now (the giants like San Diego, Bronx, and Omaha withstanding).

Thanks for typing out the list and I know those things take a lot of time. I count 58 mammal species including the Children's Zoo update from @Coelacanth18 and obviously Expedition Africa helped boost that total. Oklahoma City is a fairly complete zoo, with a nice collection of birds, reptiles and amphibians as well.

This is still very close to today’s list with one exception. The wallabies all left on breeding recommendations, and they expanded the goat yard into that space.

Shouldn't the Pachyderm House change its name?

I get why it’s confusing, but it won’t change. The zoo received historic tax credits for renovating that building to offset part of the Africa project’s cost, and I’m pretty sure still referring to it as the “Pachyderm Building” was part of the requirements for that.

If you wanna count naked mole rats and dwarf crocodiles as "thick-skinned" by pachyderm's literal definition... :p

In all seriousness, it does pay homage to the zoo's history with the community, and I believe the building was placed on the US Historic Register. Hence why it couldn't be demolished.
London Zoo changed the name of the 'Elephant and Rhinoceros Pavilion' to the 'Casson Pavilion'
