Sia and her female cubs, Nova, Hope and Star (born in April 2020 and sired by the male Abasi who is still at Colchester), moved to Port Lympne in the first half of 2022, while the male cub Colonel Tom moved to Wingham Wildlife Park prior to this.

So how many cheetahs do they still have at Colchester? is it just Abasi?
Abasi, his brother Azizi (who arrived with him back in February 2018), and a new female Anika who arrived on the 4th April last year from Vienna. As well as the main Cheetah enclosure at Edge of Africa, Abasi was moved into a separate enclosure in a completely different area of the zoo (that had been given a brand new viewing deck in preparation) that was empty (previously African Wild Dogs) opposite Dragons of Komodo, to allow more space for Azizi and Anika to slowly be introduced to breed as it was thought their personalities would be a better match. I believe more recently the brothers were swapped around to see if Abasi and Anika would get on well.
