Mixed species exhibit ideas

i think this would be cool but idk if it exists: american bison and mountain goats. another idea is asian elephant and indian rhino but idk of that would ever work
Housing two large animals that can get spooked easily together is a recipe for disaster. I would not.

Within a 2.5 acre / 1.012 hectare enclosure, what are the most compatible species of medium-to-large antelope that can coexist with a non-breeding dazzle of Grevy’s Zebra*?

(*in this scenario; the zebras in this grouping are all female)

Beekse Bergen has Grevy's zebra with Common impala and Black sable antelope. Amersfoort has them with Common impala and Beisa oryx. And Artis has them with Greater kudu

Would Desert Cottontail and White-Throated Wood-Rat in an indoor enclosure that's seen at night and at daytime

Can Azure-winged Magpies and Eurasian Nutcrackers be kept with smaller birds such as Eurasian Golden Orioles, Grey-backed Thrushes, Eurasian Bullfinches, Red Crossbills and Grosbeaks ?
I am unsure because I know that magpies are nest robbers, but in Plzen and Walsrode Iberian magpies are kept with spotless starlings and the starlings are also bred in Plzen.

common warthog + hamadrayas baboon
I'm not an expert but a lot of baboons tend to be omnivores, and the hamadryas is no exception. They would probably eat/harass the warthogs, and the warthogs could cause them injuries while defending themselves.

They would probably eat/harass the warthogs
Presuming you were referring to baby warthogs when saying they would eat them, I could see the concern. All the other risks I'd say are fair as well. I've not heard of many mixes including baboons and this might be the reason.

Would these combinations work?
Patagonian Mara + Southern Pudu
Gelada + Greater Kudu
Wattled Crane + Blue-winged Geese
Secretary Bird + Southern Ground Hornbill

I wouldn’t suggest mixing large Hoofstock with gelada. Secretary birds and southern ground hornbill are both territorial so it would only work if it was a very large enclosure. The other ones look fine

Are there any species of fish that zoos mix with false gharials? I would also appreciate the names of zoos that utilize these mixed-species habitats. Thank you!

False gharials can be held with all sorts of freshwater fish species, Artis has them with Tricolour sharkminnows, Zoo Leipzig has them with Sultan fish, Giant gourami and Putitor Mahseer, and Chester zoo has various different barbs (Sumatran barb, Filament barb, etc)

It's also the case in Beauval, where the False Gharials are maintained with a huge range of fish of all sizes, from small species of Loaches and Barbs to Giant Gouramis and even Barramundi.

As weird as it may seem from a geographical perspective, could a controlled mix between Bactrian Deer and Greater Asian / Indian Rhinos be feasible?

For better context, the definition of “controlled” is an exhibit that is more on par with what is seen in smaller, more traditional zoos.

I see no reason why it wont work… I think. Omaha does the rhinos and Père David’s deer and the Bactria deer follow the same temperament.
