How Well Do You Know Reptiles?

The thread was inspired by “How well do you know birds?” by @BerdNerd . I’m going to post 5 questions and whoever gets the most right, gets to make up the next set of questions. If you don't know an answer, put "I don’t know". When you are done answering the questions, I will post your results. If two or more people get 5/5 correct, whoever answered first gets to go. If you would not like to go, you may choose anybody you like to make up the questions for you. This quiz is to see what you know and is just for fun, so please refrain from looking up the answers.

  1. A subspecies of turtle that was a character named Squirtle in the movie "Leo."
  2. A recently re-discovered crocodilian previously thought to be extinct. This animal is disputed as being a distinct species or a subspecies of another crocodile.
  3. A snake species with a range farther north than any other snake species.
  4. This chelonian is vulnerable in its native range but has an introduced, stable population on completely other continents
  5. This extinct lizard, though to be the largest of its infraorder that is only known from a single taxidermied specimen.

1. Florida Box Turtle
2. Whatever the name of the Nile Crocodile split is - Sahara/Desert Crocodile (C. sebecus?)
3. I presume Adder/Viper (Vipera berus) unless there is a Garter Snake species in Canada which creeps slightly further
4. Red-eared Slider (not sure of any other introduced Chelonia’s species)
5. New Caledonian Gecko - the specimen is, I believe, it Paris
