When at the zoo last week, the Timber wolves seemed very interested in the construction behind them for the Polar exhibits. How are they handling the disturbance? Are they upset or just intrgued by the commotion?

They aren't as disturbed as they are intrigued. They are also wondering what happened to the forest that used to be behind the exhibit.

will they be able to see any of the other animals in the Polar area? Wonder what they would think about Polar Bears... :)

Is it your opinion that it is a generall positive/enriching situation when the animals can see into other exhibits? I know Brutus and Buckeye enjoy being able to see their female neighbor... ;)

Sometimes - I think Predator/Prey (Tiger/Tufted Deer) exhibits are fine as well as same species (Brutus and Buckeye/Ginger). Putting two predators next to each other is often very stressful, so sometimes view of another animal is positive; other times it is not.

Columbus Zoo in Ohio. I seem to be having trouble getting the post to show in a particular zoo's forum and it ends up in the main forum.... Many apologies!
