Bu-Bu(Sóstó) moved to Belo Horizonte (Brasil) where he will breed with the daughters of his siblings.

Bu-Bu is half sibling of the mothers of both adult females. It is important to clarify that the decision to transfer him was taken by the EEP, not by the interested parts in an isolated manner.

It is also interesting to mention that we keep a third female, Anaya, daughter of Loulou and Leon (now living in Animalia), wich makes her even further related to Bu-Bu. She's not an adult yet, but will be allowed to breed in the future.

Yes, and it's important to remember that, with this degree of relativeness, they can't even be properly considered as his nieces. less than half nieces, if that makes sense?

The EEP's decision was more of a logistic one, once Sósto needed to destinate one of their males so they can now form a breeding group. Belo Horizonte needed a male to form a new breeding group, once we sent all our males, including the ones born here, to Animalia park. That said, the standards of the programme allowed this degree of relativeness between the animals, and do not consider their breeding harmful.

A needed observation I forgot to mention: Anaya, the youngest of our females (born in 2019) has received the subcutaneous contraceptive in order to avoid a possible precocious pregnancy.
