I will be in Costa Rica in March, and am planning to visit this facility. How much time would you think is needed to see everything? I am mostly interested in species rare or absent from US zoos (tinamou, oropendola, crested eagle, hawks, owls, margay, white-lipped peccary, etc.)

It took me about 3 hours to see this zoo, but they have expanded since then.
 
Also, saw Thicket Tinamou (in addition to greater), Mexican Dwarf Porcupine (though it never really came out), Black-and-white Owls. Rest of the rarities (raptors. Grisons, margays, peccaries, etc.) are still there, but there were no tapirs
