Singapore Night Safari Singapore Night Safari News

Would they be used for the show or be in a trail and if in a trail which one

It's very likely to be for the show, I doubt there's any plans to have Tanukis on display

A two year old female leopard has been announced and is in the leopard trail

Also really happy to see her being officially announced. Ishani has been on soft display for quite a while already so it looks like she's comfortable enough in her home to be public information.

I wanted to ask you guys a question. Many of you might have noticed this trend of night safari bringing in new animals every year for the past few years. So which new animal do you think the night safari will bring in? It can also be a species that was previously housed or brought from the other 3 parks.

Sorry forgot about the tanuki’s. But maybe a few more species could also come

And also if you guys know any keepers at the night safari please ask them

The keepers really wouldn't know much regarding future imports unless they were informed beforehand by the curators.

With current information, the only animals I know that will be imported in are the future Tasmanian Devils. The rest is speculation or a wishlist at best.

Zooish if I'm not mistaken also mentioned at some point that all current imports are focused on Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild, so don't expect too many imports for the park for now.

Ok thanks

Some nicer news to add here after our tragedy, the Markhor enclosure actually has a few little ones on display

There's at least 4, 2 goobers in each enclosure from what I saw today.

Edit: From what staff mentioned, there's 5 on display, they were recently put on display around 2 weeks ago

Yeah I saw a few markhor calves when I went on Thursday, they were in their first enclosure and I remember seeing 2 females were in the other enclosure. Glad they're still breeding well
