Yes, the ibis left Edinburgh a while ago, I can't remember exactly when, but it was within the last couple of years. Their aviary is empty right now.

Yes I agree, you should email them. I remember when they had so many birds species.

When I visited in summer I could see the ibis being held in one of the old (now off show) monkey house outside enclosures on the left when walking up the road towards penguins.

I remember visiting in late 2021 and seeing him asleep in a pile of food, shame really how he left shortly after that, I did feel his enclosure was a bit lonely.

According to Whipsnade, yes, he was meant to arrive by late February.
