The zoo announced that they will be closed tomorrow, January 10th, due to expected inclement weather.

Likely so at least for the foreseeable future, but while releasing information about Cabara’s passing, they did emphasize that they will continue to support the SSP for lions.Does this mean the zoo will no longer have lions?
The Amur leopards (Sampson and Dot?) were sharing the two connected habitats today - I'd guess they have another breeding recommendation.
They were still there, last I visited in December 2024.What happened to the hyenas/painted dogs? They aren't on the map anymore

We went around 10 am and all the animals were very active! The hyenas had been fed around 8 am and they were still chewing on bones by the time we got there. The painted dogs were pacing around the exhibit. Signage stated that they are new to the habitat so I'd expect viewing might be limited based on their comfort level. Can confirm that 1.0 polar bear 'Kali' was also still on display when I visited on Monday! Just saw the zoo confirmed that he has been relocated to Toledo.Interesting, wonder why they aren't on the map? I'm visiting this summer (hopefully) any ideas on how to see them? What time is best?
What exhibit did you see the wild dogs in?The painted dogs were pacing around the exhibit.
I'm not a regular so forgive me if I misspeak but it was in Rivers Edge. I remember thinking it was the old andean bear exhibit but I could be wrong. I checked the website and they are on the map there! What exhibit did you see the wild dogs in?
