SCZ’s indoor quokka exhibit opened on March 13, marking the 5th anniversary of their arrival. On February 15, a second-generation joey was spotted peeking out of the pouch. As a result, SCZ now has 10 quokkas (2.7.1). The oldest individual is 13 years old, which is quite old for a quokka. Does anyone know the longest-lived quokka on record?

Quokka (Setonix brachyurus) longevity, ageing, and life history says a captive lived for 13.8 years

I came across a document from two years ago regarding an agreement to transfer Northern Luzon Giant Cloud Rats and Gundis to Singapore Zoo free of charge. However, it seems that neither species actually arrived. Does anyone know if the plan fell through — and if so, what might have happened?

The second baby quokka of the year has recently started peeking out from its mother’s pouch.
Also, a male Chacoan mara was born recently. Sadly, his father passed away from heart failure, but the baby is doing well and is being raised by his mother.
