0.1 capybara is in the Wild Amazonia aviary. She also has access to the small shelter to the right. The decal covering the glass has been removed to allow guest viewing in there too.

So just to double check. Amazonian Encounters has Squirrel Monkeys again plus a free roaming Capybara? That's quite a delightful surprise.

Yup, I saw at least 2 squirrel monkeys. The capybara is apparently from the show team, and is partially restricted to approximately half the aviary. About 2 weeks ago, the aviary was closed for a few days. A few faux vines were added, and a low fence (around 0.5m) made of small logs was constructed at the back of the aviary, separating the aviary into half. The handrails along latter half have got some cables preventing the capybara from going onto the guest path.
I unfortunately didn't take any photos of the set-up, nor of the squirrel monkeys and capybara as I was trying to get out of the rain.

As for whether they are from Amazon River Quest, I'm not sure as I don't usually go on it. I usually stop over at River Wonders while it is raining to wait for it to stop. I have no idea how many individuals live in there. Besides, not being able to stop makes it near impossible to count.

I'm also not sure if the white-faced sakis are still in there. The signs were not updated when I visited. I didn't spend too long in there searching for them due to the aforementioned rain. They are often rather shy and may simply have been hiding. Only info I remember about them is that, iirc, they produced offspring late last year.

I've only seen 1 guanaco. RW has at least 3 capybaras, a male in the boat ride, Moe with their animal presentations team and the female in Amazonia Encounters

For the Guanacos, it's just the two of them left, Luigi and Gallina, Molly was put to sleep due to an eye infection.

I checked with a Keeper. Apparently there's only 3 Capys left. Moe, the one on the boat ride who's name I forgot and the yet to be named new one in Amazonia Encounters
