Must revisit whenever it goes on display. Wonder if any of the Winged Sanctuary cages are even big enough for a Secretarybird

Yay! I really missed seeing this bird back in Jurong. It is meant for Heart of Africa and not the zoo right?
The Secretary Bird will almost certainly be under the show department's care and feature in Predators on Wings.
A shame it won't be on full time display but glad that it's featured in Predators on Wings. They do have quite a good collection of raptors, many of which don't appear in the show and so are never going to be viewable
I stand corrected. The parrots are on display at Winged Sanctuary in the Negros Bleeding-heart aviary

Additionally, some interesting news at the White Crowned Hornbill aviary. While Uncle is still on display, his mate is (at least for me today) nowhere to be seen while the nestbox is sealed. Perhaps something great will be up for this old couple too

Could still be in quarantine. The bird is already listed in Mandai's collection in ZIMS.

Just visited the park today and since it was blazing hot earlier, spotting the birds in the Winged Sanctuary is much harder than usual. I have 2 questions regarding the inhabitants of Winged Sanctuary:
1) There's a small-ish bird in the Pink Pigeon aviary. Any idea which bird is that?
2) How many lorikeet species are there inside the Negros bleeding-heart aviary? I might have seen something similar to a Coconut Lorikeet. I know there is a record of the aviary housing Mindanao Lorikeet, but this one was much brighter.
There's also a crowned pigeon in the Chestnut-eared Aracari aviary - which makes it a strange mix.

1) Was it on the ground? Last I saw there were Jungle Bush Quails in there.
2) I believe there are Scaly-breasted Lorikeets in there.

1) It's definitely in the lower third of the aviary, but I can't remember whether it's on the ground or on a low lying branch.
2) so there are 3 lorikeet species along with the newly added Macleay's Fig-Parrot?
From what I know, the young female came in quite rough with several injuries, so she could be taking time to recover too.

couple of changes at Winged Sanc:
- Grey Peacock-pheasant added to Southern Rufous Hornbill cage
- Yellow Cardinal is missing
- Bali Myna and Malayan Crested Fireback have taken over former Sumatran Laughingthrush cage
- Western Long-tailed Hornbill added to former Bali Myna cage
- 1.0 Edward's Pheasant added to Northern Bald Ibis cage
- 1 Blue-crowned Laughingthrush added to Pink Pigeon cage, which was the bird in @honeybadger 's qn
