Marmoset/tamrin mixed exhibits

my map in the guide book i was given clearly stated that they are in the same enclosure, have you ever seen it yourself?
Yes i have and they are 3 small islands not 1 large 1 so don`t believe the map from South Lakes because in 1 the guide book the map says they have Tree kangaroos but they never have.

Monkey world have only just got their tamarins, and Im not sure if they're mixed in with the marmosets yet. I didnt see any evidence of the tamarins when I visited last week, so maybe they are not in exhibit yet.

They are in the monkey kitchen :)

I just remebered that whipsnade have saki monkey and geoffreys marmoset mixed together in the discovery zone (Have i got the right species?)

okay thank you ZooGiraffe, its just the guide book has them in one area, not on three separate islands, i shall delete my first post

GLT & Pygmy Marmosets: Jihlava, Zuerich
Budapest Zoo tried to combine various Callitrichinae species in their old Rainforest hall, but stopped due to interspecific aggression.

Its not a problem i know what you mean by just looking at the map you would think they were all mixed but they aren`t,maps can be so deceptive until you actually see the place and then you realise how wrong the map is.

Could Black and Gold Howler monkeys be displayed with cotton-top tamarins, or would the big monkeys be too dangerous? I know Houston mixed their howlers with golden-lion tamarins.

I currently keep two species of Tamarins, Cotton Topped and Red Bellied and two species of Marmosets, Common and Geoffroy's. They are all housed separately in large natural enclosures with trees and shrubs and each enclosure can be seen by the others. All of the animals show aggressive behaviour to the others in one way or another. Therefore in my experience I wouldn’t advise mixing these species together
