The pair of demoiselle cranes has been returned to Zoo Hluboka.

New species is on show - 0.1 Western Siberian eagle owl freshly arrived from Beauval zoo.

One female dusky pademelon has a large baby in its pouch - the first time this species bred at Na Hradecku.

A new female serval arrived today from Śląski Ogród Zoologiczny. She will form a pair with a male from Munkholm Zoo, which should arrive in two weeks.

Interesting. As far as I know Faruk Yalçın is the only zoo in Turkey that keeps this species. There might be a couple more but I have not seen anything that could be considered up to date from those facilities.

To be honest, I'm not even surprised. I know there are few people out there (including me), who kind of expect the zoo to acquire them if everything goes well...
